Paramount Bristol presents The Allman Betts Band with Stoll Vaughn and Jive Mother Mary$27-47 plus applicable taxes and fees / Members save $5 per ticket
Classic Rock, blues and Southern rock fans rejoice! Devon Allman and Duane Betts, the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts, have teamed up to form The Allman Betts Band and they’re bringing their signature sound to Bristol as part of a worldwide tour honoring the legacies of their fathers. Allman and Betts just finished recording at the historic Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama for a new album that will be released this Spring. The concert will feature new music, songs from their solo projects, and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes. The new ABB includes great musicians Berry Oakley Jr. (son of original Allman Brothers Band bassist Berry Oakley), slide guitar virtuoso John Stachela and DAP percussionists R. Scott Bryan (Sheryl Crow) and John Lum. Betts and Stachela are a dynamic duo with their guitars, each playing extensive and creative solos. Don’t miss this tremendous jam!
If Stoll Vaughan sounds familiar — his music, if not the name – it might be because the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter’s efforts have been heard, but not necessarily identified, on major motion picture and network TV series soundtracks like True Blood, Shameless, Friday Night Lights and The Office. Most recently he co-wrote with The Allman Betts Band for their debut record, Down To The River.
The rising Southern Rock band Jive Mother Mary is made up of Mason Keck, Tyler Schulz, Seth Aldridge, and William Sanders. The band has opened for artists like Buddy Guy, Grand Funk Railroad, Blackberry Smoke and more.
